I think they both have potential. The first one I think needs less work so I'll start there. The perspective is a little strange. Perhaps pull down the horizon line and remove the road down the center. The road is unnecessary as everything is already divided down the center. You don't need the extra line to reinforce that.
The second is nice and I like the incorporation of the record player. I think everything in the picture should be moved and turned into a reflection on the record itself.
